Graham is a highly experienced metrics specialist. As Manager of a Function Point Analysis team, he developed a strategic view of the FPA team’s potential role and translated that vision into team goals and activities, which enabled IT Metrics deliver the maximum benefit to the organisation.
Graham has built on this experience to apply his metrics skills to the analysis and effective application of the measures gathered to improve the management of the software process. He has worked on a number of functional size measurement assignments for SMS, including use of functional size measurement to verify supplier performance, and contributing to an integrated team delivering a CMMI capability evaluation. He has also delivered metrics consultancy for a number of Australian organisations, holding Dual Citizenship for Australia and the United Kingdom.
Since gaining his Degree of Batchelor of Management, majoring in information systems, Graham has further developed his managerial and team skills. He has broad work experience gained in a variety of different business areas, including considerable experience of using the Balanced Scorecard as a management reporting tool.
Graham’s wide range of interests, including information technology, basic psychology, metrics, statistics, economics, process improvement and management theories, enhance his ability to communicate the business value of properly applied software metrics.
