Jill Pritchet

Jill Pritchet is a Chartered IT Professional with over twenty years experience in the Software Industry. As well as extensive knowledge of the various Software Process Improvement (SPI) methods, Jill was active in the re-development of the new version of the ISO 9001:2000 standard. She has been an SMS Principal Consultant since 2003 specialising in complex change management projects in a wide variety of organisations.

Jill speaks from a background of significant achievements in; Change Management, Software Process Improvement, Quality Management and IT Service Management.. Her experience includes project managing a programme helping 75 companies across Europe implement their first SPI projects. Recent assignments have included; Assessments, process modelling, training delivery and implementation support for projects using CMMI, ISO 9001 (including TickIT) & ISO 20000.

A highly skilled communicator and process improvement Mentor, Jill Pritchet has guided many companies through the complexities of Software Process Improvement projects that have provided tangible benefits to the business. A recent project achieved a 29% saving on the original budget when using the newly defined software development life cycle for the first time.

Jill has a special interest in transforming development culture and has delivered tutorials and presentations at several European Conferences (including ESEPG, EuroSPI, SPICE and UKSMA) so that others can learn from her success in achieving effective and sustainable change.

Jill has given SPI tutorials and presentations at conferences across Europe, including EuroSPI, SPICE and UKSMA. She has also delivered webinars for SMS and ITMPI.
