This workshop is for managers who need to achieve results in a constrained economic climate. There’s less money, but the same (or even increased) level of demand. With fewer resources, it’s more than ever critical that technology infrastructure delivers the support the organization needs; but it has to be at an affordable price. With little or no money available for investment, how, in practice, do you square this circle?
In this workshop, two thought-leaders with practical experience of Lean business transformation and Lean software processes, will share case history of organizations which have achieved successful transformation in technology-intensive services, and offer practical guidance in how your organization can achieve the same results.
Stephen Parry, author of “Sense and Respond” is CEO of See Business Differently and former Head of Strategy and Change at Fujitsu Services. Stephen is a recognised industry thought leader in Lean Service Transformation and Change. He has successfully helped many businesses achieve rapid and significant improvement through Lean transformation – reducing costs, improving stakeholder and customer satisfaction, stabilizing staff turnover and retaining business-critical know-how.
Grant Rule is CEO of the SMS Exemplar Group, with over 30 years experience in improving the management of software services. He is a pioneer of applying Lean principles to the software development process and brings a rigorous, business-oriented approach to analyzing and improving software systems performance which is essential for any organization seeking to control ICT costs effectively.
Course materials include a copy of Stephen Parry’s book, “Sense and Respond.” (pub. Macmillan)
